UNTOXICATED

Untoxicated, a sensitive skincare startup founded due to the owner's struggle with eczema, engaged L&TM to refine their brand storytelling and packaging for their DTC channel and future retail expansion. L&TM researched clean vs. clinical beauty, sensitive skin concerns, and the competitive landscape. This allowed us to clarify and amplify Untoxicated's brand through strategic design and smart copywriting

The Glade global team partnered with Love & The Machine to help design a program that would stand out from the Spring season sea - of - sameness . By uncovering unique consumer insights, which drove differentiated positioning and led to an exciting and unexpected creative campaign, this internationally launched ‘24 collection was so well received that it was expanded and extended into ‘25.

Brach’s had always been considered a classic candy brand, but that vintage vibe wasn't making it relevant to the next generation. A full brand and packaging redesign, built on the joy of connecting through candy, helped move Brach’s from the past into the present.

Our client was looking to build upon the success of their seasonal LTO programs to capture more micro occasions. In partnership with Walmart, we helped them build a collection that celebrated Americana while simultaneously highlighting Glade’s 70th anniversary.The program successfully grew from a pilot test to a national roll out.

To help extend their Safe for Families portfolio, RAID came to Love & The Machine to reposition and redesign a liquid-electric plug-in for the global market. What our client knew were product benefits, parents, the consumer target, saw as potential barriers to use. L&TM knew the key was to identify a universal, emotional, human connection, even in a category that is functionally driven

COLLECTION

Fresh has been the leading scent camp in Air Care forever. However, the space was over-saturated with a sea-of-same, laundry-centered fragrances. We helped Glade use their fragrance expertise to redefine and elevate  what fresh fragrances could be.

GILLETTE

We began our relationship with Gillette when we were asked to redesign their signature Clear Gel APDO line in order to make it feel fresh and relevant for a younger consumer. The project extended into a full refresh of their APDO line for North and South America and was followed by Love & The Machine partnering with Gillette to develop and launch an entirely new better-for-you, deodorant line.

I just came from a meeting with the head buyer from Sam’s Club. He held up the work you did for us as an example to other brands of what they should be doing.
